Please contact me to discuss a commission for something special!

Private Commissions

I can depict any subject and work across most 2D and some 3D mediums. Examples for commissions I can deliver are pet portraits, human portraits, wildlife art, logo or sign design and painting, creating an original artwork based on your photo or turning anything you have in mind into an original artwork!

However, if you would like something a bit different please do get in touch too - I am always open to new ideas and projects and would be happy to discuss them with you.

PUBLIC ART COMMISSIONS
HERITAGE INTERPRETATION BOARD DESIGN, MILL HALL MILL
Design 1 Mill Hall Mill .jpg

● These are my original designs for two heritage interpretation boards that celebrate and document the historic watermill Mill Hall Mill in Ditton, Kent.

I was commissioned by Panattoni to recreate the images of the watermill and what life around it used to be like at the current site of Panattoni Industrial & Business Estate. Since the mill was demolished completely, I had to undertake extensive research into the history of the local area and watermills to depict it as accurately as possible, discovering the only remaining photograph of the mill in the process, and writing the accompanying text detailing its history.

● Apart from the text, my designs are completely hand-painted, including the titles, creating a more authentic, historic and lively atmosphere, showing Mill Hall Mill and the important work and play that used to take place inside and around it.

● It was incredibly rewarding to work on preserving and sharing the memory of Mill Hall Mill and its place within Kent's history and heritage. The large scale lectern signs bearing my designs will be installed later this year.

RESTORATION OF THE EAST MALLING VILLAGE SIGN

● The East Malling Village Sign that I was commissioned to restore is now up and standing tall above the East Malling village centre.

It is great to see it in its proper place, serving its purpose and celebrating the village and its history.

● I was commissioned to restore this double-sided sign by the East Malling and Larkfield Parish Council. I followed the original design and painting style very closely and ensured it was weatherproof

It was incredibly rewarding to work on restoring this piece of Kent's history and heritage

LARGE SCALE WALL MURAL PAINTING FOR IRONWORKS GYMNASIUM, MAIDSTONE
1.jpeg

● I was commissioned to paint several large scale wall murals as part of a team of art students.

● The mural designs were chosen by the client and included their logo, the gym rules and the bodybuilding and cogwheel designs.
The Logo and the Skull murals were over 2m in dimensions.

● I was responsible for drawing and then painting the Gymnasium's symmetrical logo seen in the first photo. And I also helped my team members paint the other murals.

● Overall, we spent 2 days on this commission. It was my first ever mural and public art commission which I absolutely loved working on!

● I enjoyed this experience, the teamwork and the ability to put my individual talents and problem-solving to good use to produce these murals that communicate the Ironworks Gymnasium's values through unique hand-made paintings which stand out and create a special atmosphere for the gym users.

PRIVATE ART COMMISSIONS

"BEMPTON CLIFFS SEABIRD COLONY"

''Bempton Cliffs Seabird Colony'' Commission, oil on canvas, A4(21cm by 30cm).JPG

● Private commission to create an oil painting of a busy seabird colony at Bempton Cliffs RSPB Nature Reserve.

The star species, such as gannets, puffins, and guillemots are all busy fishing and raising their ever hungry chicks in my painting.

● As I was given creative freedom, I
came up with the original composition and the birds' poses to create a unique work of art.

●This was one of my smaller commissions - I had to use my tiniest paintbrushes to do justice to all the details and achieve the best precision on A4 canvas scale.

I work across a variety of sizes - big and small.

''TED'' PET PORTRAIT
Ted Pet Portrait.JPG

● Private commission to draw a pet portrait of Ted surrounded by his favourite yellow daffodils as requested by the owner.

● This is an A3 watercolour pencil drawing

● By referencing photographic studies of Ted when I met him and preparatory sketches from life, I was able to come up with a pose and composition that I felt could best capture his character and likeness.
